Schools may ban a book because of profanity, sexual references, immoral thoughts/things/actions, or violence. However, I think that schools should not remove a book unless the circumstances are extremely rare, ex. Suicide/murder influenced by that book. Otherwise, I think that books should never be removed, I believe it is Okay for the school to discontinue mandatory teaching of the book. Instead the school could take it out of the curriculum or make it optional.
